DRUGSTORE GALORE!

MAKEUP-MUSTHAVES EDITION!

ALOT of Beautee Gurus nowadays seem to only be talking about pricey high end products! && whenever they DO talk about drugstore products it just seems sooo fake & forced! BUT Ladies & Gent's I'm gonna keep it real with y'all. Lets put that makeup money to GOOD use!

FOUNDATION

Maybelline FIT ME Matte + Poreless is FAB! I personally use this product rather often, and whats so great about it is I NEVER have had a cake face issue EVER! Plus the Matte formula is not STARK matte it leaves room to still look natural and not overbearingly matte! I do recommend this to just about any skin type or color If I'm correct I think they have options for dry and combination skin types as well!

PRIMER

I very much consider NO.7 a drugstore product, It is available at target and only costs 11$ !

Oddly enough I use this primer rather often even over using my Porefessional Primer by Benefit. I feel like this is a lot less heavy of a product it really does smooth and blur pores and lines. My makeup ends up lasting all day and my foundation applies flawlessly! I definitely would say this is a cheap dupe for Porefessional. At 20 dollars cheaper, who can beat it?

EYELINER

Ok, I'm a little bit addicted to liquid eyeliners, and since I love wearing winged liner it makes sense..right?? (please say yes) Anywho, I have TooFaced, Benefit, Urban Decay ..on an on and on.

BUT

When applying my eyeliner I'll always start off using another product, get frustrated and IMMEDIATELY go to my NYX liner. (in matte) It is very thin and precise, plus since the head is flexible and not a firm liquid pen it's a lot easier to make that classic "wing". It is now my go to, and I think I'll just stick to using this classic liner! Plus no smudging or bleeding throughout the day!

HEAVEN!

BLUSH

Milani Baked Rose Blush, first of all how flippin cute is this?!

Ok sorry guys, that's not the reason were here, we are here however because this blush is FABULOSO! I purchased this on a whim a little while back ( I like to purchase different products to review them for y'all!) I used it a few times and loved it, but I stopped wearing blush altogether for a month or so. Well about a week ago I started using this again, and I cursed myself for ever stopping!

It is such a beautiful velvety baked blush, it applies so natural looking as if you are glowing from within!

FOUNDATION PIGMENT DROPS

Y'all should have known this precious GEM was gonna be listed. DUPE ALERT DUPE ALERT.

These are definitely a dupe for COVER FX drops. I have them both and LOVE them both and they are rather similar. This product has completely changed the way I look at foundation. (plus made me way more high maintenance) BUT on a budget, I HAVE to use these every single day now... along with MAC strobe cream or a dupe for that.....

ILLUMINATING STROBE CREAM DROPS

These are illuminate and strobing drops by Hard Candy.

Definitely a Dupe for MAC Strobe Cream.. (Should I sing DUPE ALERT again?...)

I am so crazy about my foundation nowadays, I LOVE having a illuminated glow and mixing a few drops with my foundation! The great thing about this product is its not too over the top, it's a very subtle illuminated glow but its absolutely gorgeous... I actually think this is more of a CoverFX radiance drops dupe? Since its not really a "cream formula" What do y'all think? LEAVE COMMENTS BELOW!

BEAUTY OIL

This is a Multipurpose product, Its a primer, skin hydrating beauty oil and more!

I even heard Laura Lee say when she goes to the beach she puts this all over, Great Idea!

Also this does dry into the skin rather quickly, making it great as a primer. Also it does wonders for the health/hydration of your skin! I have gone thru several bottles already and and will remain a faithful customer! I lather this ish on and 1 bottle has lasted me MONTHS!

PT3. MAC REVIEW

*STUDIO FIX FLUID FOUNDATION*

Great Product! I immediately loved this foundation  FULL COVERAGE. Yet It doesn't look heavy or cakey its very flawless looking! Another thing is their foundation is so widely diverse as far as different shades. It was really nice that I had a foundation that COMPLETELY matched me 100% My foundation lasted all day & my skin looked flawless!

*TROLLS BY MAC "GLO RIDA" HIGHLIGHTER*

I did a review of this product a few posts ago, and said I thought it was TERRIBLE... I thought it was sheer barely there and not at ALL pigmented. At second glance using this product I actually kinda enjoy it. It is great for a VERY subtle natural look.

*MAC FIX PLUS SPRAY*

Is it even fair for me to comment on this? I personally LOVE it. I spray it on my brushes or sponges before application. I think it is definiltey a holy grail product. It gives a beautiful natural dewy look to the skin. Now I'm not sure if this is considered a setting spray? I like to consider it a makeup fixer/refresher or holy water... ha..

*MAC TRANSLUCENT PRESSED SETTING POWDER*

This was a decent product, I do wish I would have gotten the loose powder VS. the pressed powder. I think it really did help keep my makeup in place all day, and without rubbing or smudging off. (That tends to happen constantly in my workplace , ecspecially in the kitchen)

Overall THE PRODUCTS TIED!

BUT, If I had to pick which ones worked best MAC was by far the winner. Although I simply can't get over how GREAT the OFRA MAKEUP FIXER Setting Spray was.....

MAC VS OFRA PT2 ( OFRA REVIEW)

MAC VS. OFRA PT II.

So, we reviewed and talked about the products when I first tested them out. Now were gonna talk about how Day 1 (OFRA PRODUCTS) went.

This was me.



No really, I explain in the video but for those who just want a quick recap...

*OFRA ABSOLUTE SILK PEPTIDE FOUNDATION

This has the ability to be good, it is very much a yellow foundation even at its lightest of colors. I also feel it oxidizes when on the skin, I didn't want to add any other foundations to the original OFRA foundation. BUT I had really no choice.. I added just 2 drops of my lightening COVERFX Pigment Drops, now let me tell you something the FOUNDATION ALONE (w/o banana powder)

is GORGEOUS. BUT when I used the

*OFRA BANANA POWDER LUXURY POWDER

It was TERRIBLE. I mean at first it wasn't & maybe its just my skin or whatever. BUT It was so bad I looked like a powdered doughnut...It was so yucky lookin in the areas I used the powder I had to take it ALL OFF, and I ended up only using the foundation ALONE (with the setting spray.

*OFRA MAKEUP FIXER SETTING SPRAY

The foundation DID NOT BUDGE! Which Is literally INSANE. I work in a restaurant where its hot I'm running around & sweating. PLUS I live in the humid hell called Florida.

I was so shocked because It still looked like I applied it that morning after a 8hr. shift.

IT WAS MAGICAL, I don't think I can tell you guys enough how great it was.

*OFRA CHEEKY CHEEK ENHANCER

At first use I thought wow this is a very beautiful natural looking highlight WHICH IT IS.

BUT, it needs to be used with a VERY fluffy brush and super lightly applied. OTHERWISE, It has a habit of looking very silvery & unnatural. OK I KNOW. Highlighters aren't exactly "natural" but what I mean by that is it just doesn't look very good... SO used lightly & correctly its absolutely beautiful. I do wish though they just called it a "highlighter".  Because that Gimmicky name sucked me right in until my buy first ask questions later self realized it was nothing more then a highlighter...

OVER ALL SCORE

7.8/10

 I have decided to go ahead and use a setting spray, foundation, setting powder & highlighter from each brand. The first day I will be using OFRA products, & day two will be MAC products. At the end of each day I will document how well my makeup stayed how the products worked etc.

(I'm a scientist y'all) THEN on the 3rd day I will blog the BATTLE OF THE BRANDS and compare each product to its sister product and ANNOUNCE THE CHAMP AND TITLE WINNER OF BEST BEAUTEE BRAND !

Yes, this is me in my current state. I SWEAR I just used half of my MAC FIX PLUS (spoiler ALERT) I just got in the mail today. I LITERALLY applied my makeup, removed my makeup, applied it, removed it and doused the f**k out of my beauty blender with FIX PLUS. I have a problem.. MORAL of the story is I had to share my issues. I made the rough draft video and since I look like a wild boar, Ive decided against posting it and when I am normal again in the morning I will post it. Due to my current MAC-CRACK-ATTACK ( OK  srsly I just invented that and it is now patented by LadyBeautee)

Hello Beautee Babes! I'm such a liar, so yes WE ARE going to have a RIDE OR DIE post. BUT I have stumbled upon a maybe known? maybe unknown depending on who you are. I struggle with foundation at times. I'm sure some of us have before, still do, or sometimes do. Now I've recently discovered a mathematical equation that blew my mind into fucking oblivion. Now below I will post My simple equation and I hope you enjoy! (This is what works for me! I have combo type skin and honestly I don't see why It couldn't work for any skin type by swapping your fav foundation)

FUCKING SHEER GENIUS.

Ok for all you know it alls, yes it makes sense. YES I'm sure lots of people have done something CLOSE to this. But I'm in love with it, and I feel like the legit birth mother of it so I'm going to brag and get excited and hyperventilate. So simple enough if you have something like a canvas you use to mix products feel free, I on the other hand use...well....my hand. Haa..Ok yeah anyways I put about a pump and a half on the top of my hand, Along with a small pump of the lumi primer and 2-3 drops of the Hard Candy Glamoflauge Pigment drops (depending on the amount of coverage your looking for). Now you can use the end of a brush, a pair of tweezers, a clean straw, anything CLEAN & SANITARY that can mix the products together. Now comes the fun part, APPLYING YOUR PRODUCT! I love beauty blenders, but just recently IT Cosmetics for ULTA's brushes have stole my heart.  Here is a PERSONAL opinion if your gonna use a "blending sponge" DONT go with a Real Techniques Blender. IM SORRY! Jeez... I just personally have grown to dislike them NOW Don't get

me wrong Real Techniques over all is a BAD BITCH. Buuut I started off using them and Ever since

Makeup Manny (not sure what his real name is) From Sephora Forced the Beauty Blender upon me I have been in love and realized the treachery and deceit that was thrust upon me with the RT blender.

Okay, So this post is going to be dedicated to Black Friday Shopping! Yes originally, I know I was going to make the first post be all my must have holy grail products, but I feel due to this shopping holiday I must make a post accordingly... I'm going to go through SOME of the products I purchased  but I'm going to cut it short to 8 SALE and some not so sale... items and give a FULL, HONEST , REVIEW! I did ALOT of online shopping with stores like MORPHE & (again) ULTA, so when the products come in a Black Friday Recap PART II will be posted!  Now lets get started!  (these products are in no particular order)

                      

1.  ARI BY ARIANA GRANDE HAIR PERFUME

Okay So I get my hair done at ULTA (rather often) & my stylist keeps a bottle of this, I guess you would call it hair fragrance? at her station. I used it for the first time and YAAAASSS BIH I was like ohhhkay Grande you might have something here ( and of course girl, you know I HAD to buy it).  This is one classy YET sexy fragrance, and I would consider a must have for any fragrance collection. Plus HAIR FRAGRANCE? Really? that's trendy as fuhk! The best part is the PRICE,  it was only 20.00 for (might I add) a slightly large-ish decent sized bottle. Go getchu some gurl! ( and whip your hair around your man candy ! (just don't break your neck..)

                              

2.   " BARE MINERALS THANK YOU YOU'RE SO SWEET 8 PIECE EYE CANDY COLLECTION"

                    New from Bare Minerals is this 8 piece eyeshadow collection including shimmers, matte and transitional blending shadows, this collection is perfect for ANY makeup lover. Plus I couldn't help but fall in love with design I'm a sucker for a well designed product! With names like Cocoa, Angel Food cake & Dulce De Leche Its sure to satisfy any sweet tooth! Now any palette or whatever you might call this? (Ill stick with shadow box) They are going to be helllaa pricey. Now  I think I paid 20 bucks for this ( don't quote me) & it was originally 36$ and is a 88$ value this is a product that's worth the payout guuurl!






                           

 3. MARIO BADESCU FACIAL SPRAY

    Oh lawdy lawd. WHAT A PRODUCT. Now this product isn't anything new to most but it was part of my shopping trip (therefore included in "Ulta BlackFriday haul"). Now I'm only "slightly" obsessed with the Kardashians, & Mario Badescu is of course their Makeup Artist. Created by the KK's makeup artist, this facial spray is sure to be a win! Now not only is it GREAT to give dry dehydrated skin a boost, the pricing is the best part! There is a travel size as well as the original 4fl oz (large) (which runs ya only 7$ and travel is only 5$). Now if you ask me the travel size doesnt look so travel size... Its quite larger then any of the well known small travel carry on products on the market nowadays. Fresh simple ingredients including Aloe, Herbs, and Rosewater, this has become part of my normal skin care routine. It also looks fabulous when sprayed over your makeup setting spray as the last step in your makeup routine! #musthave










                                     

4. TOO FACED BORN THIS WAY CONCEALER

So I'm rather excited about sharing this product.... The one thing that is slightly aggravating

about being in love with prestige makeup is the prices and chances of a bust. This concealer right here....this right here is that ish. I absolutely love it, now an important detail which should go for all concealer purchases is to SWATCH, SWATCH, SWATCH. Please make sure your concealer is the correct shade nothing would be worse then a dark or too light under eye! But I have had absolutely ZERO issues with under eye creasing, oxidizing or the concealer not lasting. If your looking for a concealer too hang with you thru the toughest of days, you found your baby! It looks so natural and a little goes a long long way. Pair this with the Born This Way foundation, or even your must have personal foundation choice and SLAY BIH!  P.S that's some sassy packaging! #toofacedismyfriend

                                                

4. BECCA GLOW ON THE GO (MOONSTONE)

 GENIUS GENIUS GENIUS. So another shoutout to my stylist, she recommended I purchase the travel kit to get the most bang for my buck! Which is GENIUS this kit will last you forever, and little

goes a long way!Simply take two dots of the cream highlighter on the highest point of your cheek bones. Then blend in and add the powder highlight on top and VOILA MAGIC! No need to purchase the full size of both items, it was $20.00 for both! All wrapped up in one beautiful lil box. TIP: Use the right color highlighter for your skin tone, or for the occasion.   5. IT COSMETICS HEAVENLY LUXE FLAT TOP BUFFING FOUNDATION BRUSH

So I'm an advocate that good brushes will make or break your makeup routine! That does not mean you have to buy a 40$ brush. Sigma, Morphe, BH cosmetics they all sell quality brushes at a decent price! Okay back to the purpose, this brush gives me LIFE. No really, I was very back and forth with using a brush or a beauty blender and let me tell you I was leaning towards the BB. Until I recently got this brush yesterday from ULTA, Now this wasn't on sale itself but I had been eyeing it for some time. For the perfect application put a little foundation on the back of your hand pat the brush down on the foundation to get it on the brush. Apply to face blending it in and bringing it down the jawbone/neck, and VOILA MAGIC you will have a beautiful airbrushed look! (be sure to set with setting/translucent powder)



                                

6. NIP + FAB VIPER VENOM FROWN FIX

         I have what I would call "TERRIBLY LARGE FORHEAD LINES". Haha, no it's not too terribly bad, but I do really hate (dislike) them. I actually ended up getting this for only $7.99 with an original price of $12.95.  I don't know if I'm crazy (I'd like to think not) But I have been using it for 2 days and honestly my fine lines do look  not as prominent and slightly smoother. I used to literally try ANYTHING for fine lines, when I came across NIP+FAB  as a brand I knew I had found something. So all in all ladies if you feel like your fine lines could use a little TLC, I would recommend this product. I'm not one to just recommend ANYTHING, that can be really aggravating I used to watch beauty bloggers on Youtube and ended up buying so many BS products just because THEY recommended it. 7. PUR 10TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION

4 IN 1 PRESSED MINERAL MAKEUP

So I was a little weary on buying yet ANOTHER  facial powder, due to my overwhelming collection of them. Especially (even though I love it) due to the gimmicky-ness of it. Now usually I don't end up loving every single product I purchase, maybe I got hella lucky this time? So I went to use this, I  took my powder brush and applied a light amount onto my cheek area & OMG. Ok firstly the coverage, I did not load up on the powder or apply several coats this was barely one swatch. My skin looked so creamy and just absolutely beautiful! Now another great quality is it also has a Broad Spectrum SPF 15 in it! All and all ladies and gents this powder is one badd beeetch! It was on Sale for only 29$ again the original price was somewhere around 35-39$. PUR Cosmetics has a lot of their makeup on sale, and still did even before BLACKFRIDAY!

8. BLONDE SEXY HAIR SHINING STAR SPRAY

So most of  us know this is a prestige brand of haircare, I ended up ONLY paying 6.96 for this!

This is a lot like a serum sheen spray, it also  enhances the blonde color  in your hair. Well not only does it do exactly that, It also makes your hair feel magical! YES magical,  It's perfect for either straightening your hair, or just adding a little shine and smoothing away any frizz or unruly hair! I've been a serum spray fan since L'oreal introduced Sleek & Shine Serum Spray & it was amazing, until they took it off the shelves :(  but if your looking for something to do exactly as I described this will be your new bestfriend  and it  isn't like other products who make your hair look oily and unkempt it actually makes it look recharged, refreshed, and renewed! Plus its just the right size to pop in your purse for on the go. This is going to be the last product I'll be sharing, until part II when more products arrive in the mail and I get to use them, so I can give a complete honest review.
